Late November we met Dave, he backed down his trailer and dropped off one of his pride and joys; one of the cleanest and sexiest S13’s we’ve seen in a long while. This is how they all should be… clean, dropped on the floor and a nice set of Jap wheels.
Dave’s visit involved fixing up a leaky fuel system and re-tuning his PowerFC for the newly installed Tomei M7960 turbo and E85 upgrade. The stock tank feeding into a custom surge tank, sporting twin walbros then up to some ID1000’s was the fuel system of choice for the street driven S13.
So after a few hours on the dyno and running 18psi through the stock SR20DET, she produced a nice streetable 342rwhp.
For everyone looking to make a little more power on there streeter, E85 and a splash of boost is the way to go.
